Call for Papers
Submit a paper and enter to WIN an iPod
nano.
The Delaware Valley Chapter of the 7x24 Exchange is
asking our membership to submit papers
on current emerging trends, issues and best practices in Data Center
management, design, operations
and maintenance. We will be issuing
this call for papers on a semi-annual basis.
The theme for our initial
papers is Risk Mitigation. Your
paper can be from the facilities
perspective or the Information Technology perspective. The Chapter
specifically
requests brief papers. The
Chapter has received and posted White
Papers in the past on our Standards
Page, and will continue to post pertinent ones, but the Chapter
now
seeks brief, concise documents. Busy
Data Center professionals are pressed
for time, and a concise, cogent document that can be read
quickly may be more beneficial than
a lengthy White Paper.
We encourage
all members to leverage your own
staff and vendors for ideas and documents. A couple thoughts-the
paper
could be helpful links, a diagram
of an idea that you have found
helpful in your facility,
or the name of a book that you
have found helpful. As we respect your
proprietary information, you can
merely post an abstract for an idea, and we will allow you to
choose who receives a copy of the
article.
Please email your submissions,
or click here to use the online
submittal form
Subsequent calls for papers are
contemplated for Performance
Improvement, and other timely topics.
If you have any questions, please
feel free to contact any member of the Standards Committee :

As for the iPod nano...we will randomly select the winner from all
those that have submitted a paper.
For each legitimate paper submitted,
you will receive one entry.
